Official Race Notice Jet Ski King's Cup - World Cup Grand Prix 2010 1-5 December, Pitsanulok Province, Thailand.

Watercross World - Asian Multi Sports & Entertainment Co., Ltd. in association with Thai Jet Sports Boating Association (TJSBA) and International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) would like to announce the official racing classification of Jet Ski King's Cup - World Cup Grand Prix 2010 which will be held during 1 - 5 December 2010 at Ratchanok Park (fresh water), Pitsanulok Province, Thailand. With a good cooperation with Pitsanulok Province, Ratchanok Park which covers more than 2,500 Rai (4 million square meters) will be 5the perfect venue6 for this year's World Cup Grand Prix, which aims to set the world's record on the East as it is moving on strongly towards its 15th year. For this occasion, you will also have a chance to explore the north of Thailand such as Sukhothai, Petchaboon, Nan, and Chiangmai provinces which is full of the region's charm, history, archaeological sites, cultures and gentle people. Trophy and Cash prizes • The KING'S CUP will be awarded to the winners of the 5 pro categories : Pro Ski Open, Pro Sport GP, Pro R/A 800 Open, Pro R/A Open and Pro Freestyle • For the rest, event trophies will be awarded to the top five winners in each category. • The total cash prizes are over US$137,000 The prize money will be awarded to the top three winners in each category. Rules • The rules of IIJSBA 2010' will be applied. • 5Sport GP6 : When a class is designated a GP class then Modified Rules apply with the following additional providions: 1) OEM Crankcases from any homologated make/model PWC may be used; and 2) Top deck may be modified or aftermarket so long as it resembles an OEM homologated top deck. DISPLACEMENT ADDENDUM:All Normally Aspirated Four Stroke shall be allowed a maximum displacement of 1100cc or OEM displacement plus 1mm overbore on all cylinders (whichever is greater). All Normally Aspirated Two Stroke shall be allowed a maximum displacement of 1200 cc. Any PWC which is supercharged or turbocharged shall be limited to a maximum displacement of 800cc or OEM displacement plus 1mm overbore on all cylinders (whichever is greater). Race system • The final round race will use the scores accumulated from the 4 motos and also the IJSBA official Closed Course point system. • When the number of riders is more than the maximum number of watercraft allowed on starting line, Heat & LCQ systems will be used. Race site information • From Suvarnabhumi Airport (or Bangkok area), the recommended way to go to Pitsanulok is by car, heading up north. After 240 KM, you will pass Nakhon Sawan City before you take the No.117 route, heading to Pitsanulok for another 124 KM. The main road taking you to Pitsanulok is a big and convenient road, ensuring a smooth drive for you. Pitsanulok is a very important and interesting province since it stands as "the Gateway to the North of Thailand". To start with, on the eastern border with Phetchaboon province, natural tourist attractions abound such as Phuhin Ronggla National Park and many waterfalls. Only 65 KM to the west stands Sukhothai that earns the title "The World Heritage". And 3.5-4 hours away to the north, you can either choose to go right to Nan, a small but charming city with its own long history and impressive cultures, or go left to Chiangmai, another well-known destination that offers you an endless list of activities to do.
